Qualifications include:
Completion of a transcription course.
Minimum of two years transcription experience.
High speed internet.
Excellent computer skills.
Microsoft Word 2000 or above.

TRANSCRIPTIONIST
Experience:
At least two years acute care Basic 4 and/or
Five years multispecialty clinic
Must be familiar with English grammar and punctuation
Must be familiar with AAMT Book of Style 2nd. Ed.
This is a U.S.-only contract.
Do not submit information if you are living/working outside the borders of the U.S.
You will be required to certify that you or your on-site employees are performing the work. You may not subcontract any portion outside your US facility.
Software/hardware/connectivity:
Windows XP or 2000
WavPedal v.5 (requires USB or serial port foot pedal) OR ByteScribe audio file player program
WavPedal MUST BE version 5. If you have an earlier version, you will need to upgrade it.
If you do not have WavPedal software or if you require an upgrade, we are able to get special volume pricing for our contractors; please contact us before buying it.
We do not have any volume pricing for Bytescribe; you will need to contact them if you wish to purchase that softare.
If you do not have this software and are not willing to get it, do not send your information - this is not a negotiable requirement
DSL, cable, satellite or other high-speed line*
Word 2000 or higher
Firewall (Zone Alarm, Black Ice, etc.)
Malware/spyware removal (Ad-Aware, etc.)
Virus scan and subscription or other means to regularly obtain updated definition
Winzip v.9
